Storytelling for youth

These diverse films show our commitment to creating authentic storytelling for youth-focused organizations.

‘Inspiring Scouters’

For Scouts Canada we wrote & directed a short narrative to tell the story of the important role this organization—and the people who are part of it—plays in the lives of children stuck at home through the pandemic.

‘At home in a new city’

For Guidepost Montessori in New York City we directed a ”day-in-the-life” micro-documentary following the Hall family who recently emigrated from Germany. The end-result is an expression of the real-life experience of the community and culture that is Montessori.

‘The RNH story’

We helped Roger Neilson House tell their story through the deeply personal experiences of families who have been directly impacted by the care RNH provides. The video is being used by RNH on their website as well as an introduction resource tool to communicate the many kinds of complex care that RNH can provide to support families in need.

‘Creating connection’

We helped Roger Neilson House facilitate and capture a group of youth in discussion about their personal experiences with grief and the loss of a sibling. The full length content will be used by RNH as learning modules to help councillors communicate key aspects of dealing with bereavement.

Working with children is inherently joyful—we love how their honesty and transparency translates so beautifully to film.

There are so many youth-focused organizations that could be utilizing storytelling for their brands more thoughtfully and authentically. We’ve had the opportunity to bring stories to life for Scouts Canada, Guidepost Montessori, and Roger Neilson House. Focused on youth—all of these brands are uniquely diverse—and each deserved a unique style of storytelling.
